The word “love” is thrown around so much that it becomes diluted from its strength of meaning.
It is something that should stop us in our tracks. It is special when found and requires work to keep and grow whether in friendship, romance or family ties. I did this painting with that in mind and the people it represents in my life.
Art has always been a part of my life. It was my major at The University of Delaware and I got to teach art briefly to some wonderful college students, but, like many others, I chose other careers to make a living. But, always, there was art, pencil, paper, canvas, small gallery openings and sales to friends and local followers. Now, at the age of 77, it is time to do this wonderful thing, full time.
